Dr. Maria De Bruyn
Dr Maria de Bruyn obtained her medical degree at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1989. After finishing her residency and further training in anaesthesiology, she embarked on an adventure and moved to Canada.
She practiced family medicine in rural Saskatchewan and Saskatoon for 8 years. She had a very busy obstetrical practice and developed an interest in all aspects of woman’s health and dermatology.
After moving to Calgary in 2001, she started practicing phlebology and cosmetic medicine at Cosmetic Laser and Vein centre. There she developed skills in all aspects of Phlebology (vein treatments) and cosmetic medicine. She has over 13 years experience in injectables, laser treatments and skin care.
She is a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and a member of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
